Indian car owners are often found performing strange activities with no regard for the rules and regulations
A new case has emerged where some miscreants in a Tata Punch were seen engaged in questionable activities just to create social media content. India is, unfortunately, home to incredibly idiotic car owners. They think that the streets belong to them and they can do as they please. In doing so, they often end up creating a tough situations for others, or even for themselves. This case encapsulates the latter. Let us delve into the specifics of this recent occurrence.
Hooligans in Tata Punch Create Nuisance
This video stems from vipul_thakur_4141 on Instagram. The visuals showcase a white-coloured Punch with the I Love Sushant Golf City banner in the background. This is in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. They drive the micro SUV across a water body for no apparent reason at all. However, as they wish to cross it, the vehicle gets stuck midway. Thereafter, the onlookers rushed to the scene and pushed the car out of the predicament manually. What is quite shameful is that the car occupants had no remorse on their faces. In fact, they were enjoying this moronic act.
Digging into the comment section of this post revealed that the Lucknow Police sprung into action. They wrote that the matter is being investigated after which the necessary action will be taken against the culprits. That is a reassurance that the Police also keep an eye out for such activities and act to punish the guilty. I really commend this and hope that it sets a precedent for others to be discouraged from these mindless acts.
My View
I have been reporting similar cases for a long time now. It seems like people just don’t want to understand the perils involved with such stunts. The car could easily get damaged and even the people sitting inside the vehicle or standing around the car can get injured if anything goes out of hand. People’s desire for social media validation drives them to get involved in bizarre activities. I urge our readers to never imitate such idiots and make sure to uphold the driving etiquette. Moreover, if you find anyone flouting the laws, you should report them to the authorities.
