Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has unveiled its two mid-size segment cars, Honda Mobilio MPV and 3rd generation 2014 Honda Jazz new model for India at the Auto Expo 2014. The Honda Mobilio and Jazz will soon be launched in the Indian market during 2014-15.
Honda Mobilio MPV
Honda Mobilio MPV is a new mid-size car unveiled by Honda at the first day of Auto Expo 2014. Honda has designed Mobilio exclusively for the Asian market. Its sporty styling and spacious cabin space which can accommodate 7 occupants in 3 row set-up will attract customers. Honda Mobilio will be an evolution in the MPV segment with the offering of exclusive combination on sporty styling, spacious cabin and comfortable sitting to suit the needs of the modern Indian families.
Honda Mobilio is based on Honda’s popular hatchback Honda Brio. With lot of new features and improved styling, Honda will soon launch Mobilio in the Indian Market. Honda Mobilio is powered with a 117 bhp 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine and a 98 bhp 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine.

Price
The Mobilio does not seem to fall in the sub-4 meter bracket so it will be more expensive than the Ertiga and Enjoy, but going by the space, features and flexibility it offers, it will be good value for money car if Honda devices to place in a price bracket starting Rs. 7 Lakhs for base petrol variant. The top end diesel, powered by 1.5 Litre iDTEC may go as high as Rs. 11 Lakhs
2014 Honda Jazz New Model For India
Honda showcased the 3rd generation 2014 Honda Jazz new model for India at the Auto Expo 2014. The all new Honda Jazz will radically change the premium hatchback segment in India. The new jazz is based on original model with new styling, more cabin space, improved interiors and performance.
Honda showcased Honda Jazz crossover 2014 with hexagonal grill at the front with bold Honda logo, sporty spoiler, tail lamp cluster, mounted stop lamp and lot more prominent changes which give the Jazz an entirely new look.
The Honda Jazz which was was showcased is the Japanese version and the interiors for the India will be different and will have more light colour tomes which customers like in India. The Jazz hatchback is expected to be priced at par with the Amaze or maybe slightly above it to clearly keep it clear of the Brio price band.
Going by the looks, space and features of the 2014 Honda Jazz, it will not be any less in space compared to the Honda Amaze and in terms of styling and visual appeal, it is in fact more attractive than the Amaze and Brio.

Sitting clearly on premium hatchback segment, the new Jazz will offer a lot of space, peppy engine and a lot of styling it is well known for.
