Honda Activa is set to get a new generation update and the 6G will be launched this month. The new Activa will get major upgrades from the 5G.
Honda is going to launch the 6G Activa on January 15, which might be the biggest upgrade for the best-selling scooter. With 5G, the Activa got a bit modern in comparison to its rivals but the 6G will be a whole another game.
First of all, the Honda Activa 6G will sport BS-6 compliant engine with fuel injection as standard. It will continue with its same 110cc engine, but the power figures will be reduced for better fuel efficiency. The mileage is also expected to increase by atleast 10-15%.
New Activa will also get telescopic forks at the front replacing the age-old hydraulic unit. This will improve the comfort and ride quality of the scooter. At the back, it might get the 5-step adjustable monoshock, like with the Activa 125.

More features will include LED headlamps, external fuel filler cap, three fuel cap and boot opener switches, pass light and alloy wheels as well. With the new generation in tow, Activa is set to become one of the most feature-rich scooters in its segment.
Also, Honda might finally offer front disc brakes as an option. Like the current Activa, the 6G will be offered in three variants, front disc brake being offered on the top variant. The base variant might get the steel wheels.
