Honda SIEL Cars India (HSCI), is all active to expand there sales network before there next planned launch of their small car model Honda Brio In India. Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI), a joint venture between a Japan’s leading premier car manufacturer Honda Motors and Siel Siddharth Shriram Group company, reportedly expanding there sales network in smaller cities to boost there customer base in India. HSCI are now focusing on relatively smaller cities i.e. Tier-II and Tier-III cities to approach wider target audience for there small car Honda Brio.
As of now HSCI has 125 sales centers in around 77 cities across India and with this expansion plan they are looking to add 25 more outlets in next 12 months. Out of 25, HSCI has already marked there presence in Ambala, Mandi, Rohtak and Coonoor. The sales and marketing team of HCSI said currently 50% of their sales are derived from Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. The rest of their sales are achieved from the rest of the 69 cities. As a result the potential of increasing their sales from the other Indian cities is huge.
The India-bound Brio was launched in Thailand this March 2011 and is priced ranging from 399,000 – 508,000 Thai Baht (i.e., Rs 5.96 lakhs – Rs 7.58 lakhs). The all new Brio is available in 5 colors, Fresh Lime Metallic, Taffeta White, Cerulean Blue Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl. Now, it is expected to be launched in India with a price tag of around Rs 5 lakh, will be the company’s cheapest car offering.
