The popular Honda Navi moto-scooter is losing its popularity in the Indian market with only 1 unit sold this month over the country.
Honda 2 Wheelers India introduced the unusual motorcycle looking scooter, Navi in 2016. It was readily accepted by the millennial for its funky style and incredibly low weight.
Over the years, Navi has maintained its stand in the market. However, in November 2018, only 1 unit of the moto-scooter has been sold. The figures have been consistently dropping, but this is the lowest it has ever reached.
In November 2017, Honda Navi made a sale of 1459 units, which has now seen nearly 100% decline.

Last year for the first half, the sales figures were around 5,000 units or more. However, since then, the figures are dropping deep. Despite being one of the cheapest scooters, it still does not sell.
The primary reason for this is because of the growing competition. Within the 110cc segment, there are many new players. Despite these new players being expensive, they are selling more because of better styling and features.
Also, in the recent trends, a shifting focus is seen on 125cc scooters. They offer more power and better features, with an affordable hike over the 110cc scooters. As of now, the best selling 110cc scooter is Activa.
If you look the sales charts closely, out of 10 best selling scooters, 4-5 positions are taken by 125cc scooters.
