- Dodgy Paintwork: Many HR-V owners have an experience that the paint of the car chips away. This becomes evident within a few years of using the car. It is especially true if you park your car outside where it is exposed to the environment every day. The process of paint degradation becomes fastened. Bubbles start appearing on the surface of the car and rust might become exposed once the paint is worn off.
- Erratic Accelerator Pedal: Many times, the accelerator pedal pedal behaves erratically which be dnagerous in some situations. For instance, if you are driving in bumper-to-bumper traffic, sometimes the acceleration could be so unpredictable that you might slam into the car in front of you. This has been reported by some people too.
- Loose Window Gaskets: Honda HR-V also has some problems with its driver side window gasket. The gasket around the window becomes loose and falls off completely which is a pain. You have to take care of it and get it replaced regularly.
