Digital automobile artists often display their creativity by devising sporty iterations of regular cars.
In this latest virtual rendition, the Honda Elevate is seen in an RS avatar. Now, we know that Elevate is the popular mid-size SUV from the Japanese auto giant. It is the only SUV from Honda in India at the moment. It features in one of the most crowded and rapidly expanding market segments in our country. However, we have never seen it in a different avatar. That is what makes this latest illustration so enticing and impressive.
Honda Elevate RS Concept
The details of this latest case emerge from malvinwsetiawan on Instagram. It captures a rather aggressive and sporty iteration of the regular Elevate SUV. Note that it is called the WR-V in many international markets. At the front, it gets a black element above the grille section flanked by sleek LED headlamps and LED DRLs. However, the point of interest for us is the red-coloured RS badge. It represents the performance iteration of the regular SUV. Down below, the fog lamp housing on the extreme edges of the bumper looks cool and so does the lower section of the bumper with rugged black elements.
On the sides, there are barely any changes in comparison to the regular model. It gets a black roof which lends it a floating roof effect with white/silver roof rails. Also, the black colour extends to the ORVMs, door handles, side pillars and the side body cladding. I particularly like the prominent wheel arches with black cladding which neatly accommodate the elegant alloy wheels. Unfortunately, the rear section is not entirely visible. Still, the front section is of importance in this case.
Our View
Digital artists have a knack for creating unique versions of regular cars. This is a prime example of that. RS division represents the performance versions of regular Honda cars. Apart from aesthetic alterations, these cars also get engine enhancements. However, since this is just a virtual concept, we can’t comment on that aspect. In any case, this is quite an interesting version of the Elevate which doesn’t go too far away from the original model. I shall keep an eye out for more such cases in times to come.
