Replicating a supercar is not everyone’s cup of tea but some aftermarket car modification houses have been able to achieve great success doing it.
In this video, a 2008 Honda Civic is seen that has been converted into a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. Now, the Civic was a premium offering from Honda back in the day. It naturally had a sporty appearance and appropriate dimensions which lend it well to be converted into a low-slung supercar like the Aventador. That is the reason why it is mostly used to create replicas of most premium luxury supercars. Let us check out the details of this unique model.

Honda Civic Converted into Lamborghini Aventador
Looking at the exterior, one can’t tell the difference between this and the original Lamborghini. That is because almost all the components have been 3D-printed in order to resemble the original model as closely as possible. Moreover, most of the exterior has been finished in carbon fibre which ensures that the weight is not increased too much because it is still carrying the engine of the donor model. That could cause too much load on the engine. However, the doors have been kept in metal.

At the front, the projector headlamps and LED DRLs flank the wide bonnet, there is the Lamborghini logo at the centre, the radiator grille is sleek, the front splitter is great for the aerodynamics of the original model, and the ground clearance is similar to the original supercar too. On the sides, there are 17-inch alloy wheels with low-profile tyres at the front and high-profile tyres at the rear. The creases and shapes on the door look just like the on the stock supercar, the rear also features the trademark elements above the bumper, there is a massive spoiler, twin exhausts and a reverse parking camera mounted at the rear.

On the inside, there is soft touch material wrapped around the dashboard and centre console. Just like in all Lamborghinis, there is a kill switch to turn the turn ON and OFF, the power window buttons are mounted on the centre console along with an infotainment system that has been retained from the Civic. Interestingly, the steering wheel has been cut in half to lend a sportscar vibe. A modification like this will cost you anywhere between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh, mentions the YouTuber.
