A prominent digital automobile artist has devised a Type R version of the mega-popular Honda City. We are sure that any automobile enthusiast would instantly recognise the ‘Type R’ moniker. It represents the performance division of Honda. In the international market, the Honda Civic Type R is one of the most iconic performance hot hatches ever built. It locks horns with the likes of the Volkswagen Polo GT and Hyundai i20 N. Honda City is one of the most popular mid-size sedans in India. This attractive illustration has been rendered by bimbledesigns on Instagram. The automobile artist mentions that he has developed this from scratch. The most prominent aspects of this iteration include a custom-designed wide bodykit, striking big wheels, sleek black chrome paint job, spoiler, diffuser, front lip and bumpers enabling an aggressive appearance. The colossal black alloys have red brake callipers accentuating the sportiness of the performance sedan. The ginormous diffuser at the rear and a prominent splitter at the front informs the performance character of this iteration.

Even though there is no Type R version of the Honda City, just to get a glimpse of what this tag entails, let us take a look at the specifications of the Honda Civic Type R. It comes powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged and inter-cooled VTEC engine which generates a mammoth 315 hp and 422 Nm of peak power and torque. Performing the transmission duties on this mad engine is a 6-speed manual with rev-matching control. There is also an active triple exhaust with various modes.
