The Honda Amaze Ace Edition is based on the top-spec VX trim of both diesel and petrol models. It gets various cosmetic changes and special colors on offer.
The Amaze seems to have actually been amazing for Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL). Honda has just announced that the second generation Amaze has crossed the 1 lakh sales mark in just 13 months after it was introduced in mid-May 2018. In fact, Honda claims that this is fastest 100,000 sales number recorded by any new model launched by HCIL in India.
To celebrate the success of the Amaze, Honda has introduced a special Ace edition of the Honda Amaze. It will be based on the top-spec VX in both Diesel and Petrol guise, the Ace edition offers sportier appeal to the car and will be available in 3 colours – Radiant Red, Lunar Silver and White Orchid Pearl. It also gets several features updates which includes :

- Stylish seat covers with Ace Edition Branding
- Front Room Lamp
- Black Door Visor
- Door Edge Garnish
- Ace Edition Emblem
The petrol variant of the Ace Edition Amaze has been priced at Rs. 7.89 lakh to Rs. 8.72 lakh, while the price for the diesel version starts at ₹ 8.99 lakh to ₹ 9.72 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Honda reports that there has been a strong demand for the automatic variants of the Amaze in both the petrol and diesel guise. Honda says that 20% of Amaze customers have opted for the automatic variant and the numbers are increasing. The Amaze subcompact sedan, has been a strong seller for the company and has contributed to 52% of total HCIL sales in ongoing FY19-20.
