New details on the Honda Activa 6G suggest that it will get advanced connectivity features onboard. As said earlier, it is likely to be unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo.
Honda Activa brand name is going to get a major update next year, in the form of Activa 6G. There will be more features and better equipment in the form of bigger wheels and the option of a disc brake.
Importantly, Honda Activa 6G might get a Bluetooth connected speedometer as a first from the manufacturer. Connectivity features onboard would include turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alert notification and much more.
Recently, a spy shot of the Activa 6G under heavy camouflage was leaked. It was spotted with telescopic forks at the front, which also is the first for the Activa 110cc.

Honda Activa 6G will continue with the same 110cc engine but will get a fuel-injected engine. As a result, the performance, as well as the mileage, will be better, but the prices will also increase.
Activa faces competition from all the scooters in India because it is the best selling scooter. To keep up the competition, Honda needs to update it with the latest features that come on scooters like Ntorq and Burgman Street.
Addition of optional disc brakes and telescopic forks will improve its handling and comfort. It is also expected to get an external fuel filler cap, for better convenience.
Well, that’s not it. All of Honda scooters will replace major updates like new engines, new chassis and additional features. Activa-i, Dio, Aviator and Activa 125, all, will get a big overhaul next year.

In the price range of Honda Activa, there are options such as Hero Destini 125, TVS Jupiter and Yamaha Fascino. Currently, Jupiter is the most feature equipped here, followed by Destini.
With all these changes, the prices will increase by Rs 5,000 easily. Currently, it is priced from Rs 54,600 (ex-showroom Delhi).
