Finally, Honda Activa 6G might get a telescopic suspension. The first spy shots are out, as it has been spotted testing in Pune, near ARAI office.
For years, many buyers have complained about the suspension of Honda Activa. The spring loaded hydraulic type in the front is quite rigid and has considerably lower braking power.
So, looks like the company is getting their buyers what they want. Here are the first set of spy shots of the Honda Activa 6G. It has been spotted testing near ARAI office, in Pune for homologation purpose.
Currently, the best selling scooter in India, with the 6G, we expect the sales to be strengthened further. It actually competes with Hero Splendor for the best-selling two-wheeler position.

The Honda Activa 6G has been spotted testing with telescopic forks at the front, which comes in Aviator and Activa 125. This will improve the riding quality as well as the braking power of the scooter.
A small disc brake at the front also makes way on the upcoming Activa. Although, it will be offered as an option only. Combi-Braking System will come as a standard fitment.
Basically, Honda Activa 6G will be inspired by the Activa 125. That’s why, the spied scooter gets blacked out alloy wheels, spotted on 125cc Activa.

The headlamp section will also be revised, but will continue with LED headlamps. It might use LED DRLs too and a new instrument console. Just like Activa 125, the spied mule gets analogue speedometer with a large digital readout.
Mechanical changes will use the inclusion of Fuel Injection system, in order to meet the upcoming safety regulations. Honda Activa 6G FI will be a more refined and will deliver a better fuel economy.
Lastly, major visual changes to the design work, will make it look more appealing and refreshing to the customers. We expect the Activa 6G and 125 to look very similar to each other.

As the BS-6 emission norms are scheduled to kick in from April 2020, we expect the Activa 6G to debut by early next year. Expect a significant price rise owing to new features, design and engine modulations.
