Hero Xtreme 200R is production-spec Xtreme 200S. Launch expected at Auto Expo 2018
Hero MotoCorp, the country’s most popular bike manufacturer, has finally revealed the new Xtreme 200R. The new 200R is based on the Xtreme 200S concept that was previewed at the Auto Expo 2016. The new Hero Xtreme 200R launch is likely to take place at the Auto Expo 2018. The new motorcycle is likely to cost less than Rs 1 lakh. It will soon become the flagship product of Hero MotoCorp. The new Xtreme 200R becomes the first Hero MotoCorp product to feature ABS.

The new Hero Xtreme 200R is powered by an all-new BSIV-compliant 200cc engine. The new air-cooled engine produces a maximum power output of 18.4 PS @ 8000 rpm and peak torque of 17.1NM @ 6500 rpm. It comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The new motorcycle has a top speed of 114 KMPH and can sprint from 0 to 60 km/h in 4.6s seconds. The engine features additional balancers to ensure smooth performance by cutting down the vibrations. The all-new Xtreme 200R is built around a lightweight frame. The new motorcycle gets optional ABS.
