Xtreme vs Apache vs Pulsar Drag Race
This video comes from rider VEER JI on YouTube. The popular YouTuber has the three bikes with him. In the first round, he takes the Hero Xtreme 160 4V. On the count of three, the bikes launch. From the beginning, the Xtreme takes the lead. Interestingly, it stays ahead for the entire drag strip of 500 m. For the next two rounds, the vlogger switches riders to ensure consistent results and negate driving mannerisms. In all three rounds, the Hero Xtreme destroyed the competition. It was the undisputed winner of this drag race.

For the second phase of the video, the vlogger rides each of these bikes one by one. He wants to record the 0-60 km/h and 0-100 km/h times. To maintain accuracy and reliability he rides all three bikes himself. In this way, there won’t be any rider-specific issues. He makes some interesting observations. The Apache 160 took 4.40 secs and 13.60 secs for 0-60 km/h and 0-100 km/h sprints respectively. For the same acceleration test, the Xtreme 160 took 4.15 secs and 13 secs, while the Pulsar NS160 took 4.80 secs and 16.12 secs respectively. The Hero Xtreme 160 is victorious here too.

All these motorbikes come with a 160-cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. The Apache 160 makes 17.7 PS / 14.7 Nm, the Xtreme 160 develops 16.9 PS / 14.6 PS and the Pulsar NS 160 generates 17.2 PS / 14.6 Nm of peak power and torque respectively.
