Features Comparison
The list of features on the new Hero Xtreme 125R is particularly exciting. Since it is the new kid on the block, Hero MotoCorp has equipped it with the latest amenities. Given that it incorporates many features from the larger 160-cc bike by Hero in a slightly scaled-down version, there’s much to appreciate. The sporty stance is complemented by well-designed grab handles, and it features an intuitive LCD display borrowed from the larger bike. This display provides all the necessary information for the rider. The switchgear provides a tactile feel, complete with an engine kill switch. The overall appearance exudes the robust presence of a bulkier motorcycle, making it particularly appealing to a broad range of young buyers.
On the other hand, the Honda SP125 also has a decent feature list. The top aspects include a full digital meter which displays real-time mileage, distance-to-empty, gear position indicator and more, a side stand engine cut-off function, chrome muffler cover, LED headlamp, engine start-stop switch, seal chain, silent start with ACG, combi brake system, and much more. It is. certainly slightly less feature-rich.

Author’s Note
Now both these motorcycles come with distinct functionalities and strengths. Firstly, the Hero Xtreme 125R is a perfect blend of modern amenities and spirited performance at a relatively affordable price point. Being the new product, many people would inherently be drawn to it. Also, it scores big on the styling and borrows tons of elements from its bigger sibling. On the other hand, those seeking sheer affordability and can compromise with the non-availability of the latest features could easily settle for the Honda SP125. As I mentioned previously, both these have their distinct pros and cons. Still, both these are extremely compelling in their own regard.
