The sporty entry-level Hero Xtreme 125R has been leaked fully ahead of the debut at the Hero World 2024. We have been witnessing the spy images of the same for quite some time now. Also, the much bigger sibling, Hero Mavrick 440 was the one stealing the limelight for some days. It is slated to launch on January 23 at the Hero World 2024. However, it was to be accompanied by another motorcycle. We now understand that it might well be the Xtreme 125R. Let us take a look at the details here.

Hero Xtreme 125R Leaked
The images have been circulating online. It captures the motorcycle in its entirety. At the front, there are stunning visuals with a striking headlamp, a sporty stance, wide handlebars, stylish LED DRLs with wide rear-view mirrors and a tyre hugger. Additionally, the fuel tank is sculpted with a muscular silhouette, and the side body panels are rugged, offering maximum protection during off-roading excursions. There is a split-seat arrangement with sleek grab handles. Even the exhaust pipe is sporty. The alloy wheel at the front is rather narrow, but the one at the rear is broad. That is the case with most modern bikes. All in all, the bike looks pretty adventurous.

Specs
While there are no official reports about the exact powertrain for this model, we can make a few logical estimates by looking at the lineup of Hero MotoCorp. This means a 124.7-cc air-cooled engine which we also see in Glamour 125. It produces 11 PS @8,250 RPM and 10.5 Nm @6,250 RPM of peak power and torque. This engine will pair with a 5-speed transmission. Also, it could feature telescopic front forks, monoshock rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes with a single-channel ABS, etc. The prices could hover around Rs 90,000, ex-showroom making it enticing for a whole bunch of enthusiasts. The prime rival is the TVS Raider 125.

This entry-level segment is heating up with tons of appealing models. The Hero Xtreme 125R will add to that tally of capable motorcycles. Hero is up for exciting times with the launch of its Mavrick 440, designed in partnership with Harley Davidson in our market. In essence, the two-wheeler manufacturer aims to address two extreme ends of the spectrum with the Mavrick and Xtreme. We shall have to wait to see how well the buyers respond to these machines.
