Hero Xpulse 200 comes in as a replacement to the Impulse, which was discontinued a couple of years back. Impulse had a smaller engine and less features compared to its replacement.
Powering the ADV is a 199.5cc air-cooled fuel-injected engine that puts out 18 BHP and 17 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Also, the engine will be tuned for delivering torque at the low-end.
The same engine comes in Xtreme 200R and will further come in Xpulse 200T. Although, Xtreme uses a 5-speed gearbox setup instead of the 6 gears on both the other motorcycles.

Safety features willl include front and rear disc brake with ABS as standard fitment. Since Hero Xpulse 200 is an ADV, it might get switchable ABS.
We believe that Xpulse 200 will be the cheapest ADV in India. Its expected price is around Rs 1.1 Lakhs. 200T will be priced very near to it, probably a little premium more.
