Hero Xpulse 200 and 200T have been spotted, ahead of the launch next month. While the former is an off-roading version, the 200T will be for touring.
Ahead of the expected launch next month, photos of the Hero Xpulse 200 and 200T have surfaced up online. The former model was showcased last year at the 2018 Auto Expo and its launch has been delayed by over a year.
It is one of the most awaited models in India, as it will be the cheapest off-roading machine in the market. Xpulse 200 replaces the now-defunct Hero Impulse, which failed to make a mark here.
On the other hand, Xpulse 200T is a road-biased version of the Xpulse 200. As a result, there are a couple of distinctive features between both the variants.

One look at the Hero Xpulse 200 and it already feels a much more premium version of the Impulse. The engine is more powerful and more features are offered on the upcoming model.
Xpulse 200 and 200T share the same chassis that comes on the Hero Xtreme 200R. The engine is also the same, but the suspension and braking is different from the naked motorcycle.
Both the ADV versions use a 199.5cc air-cooled engine that delivers 18 BHP and 17 Nm of peak torque, with engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The low-range and mid-range torque will be better than that on Xtreme 200R.

Highlights of the Xpulse 200T include blacked out alloy wheels, a contoured seat, long suspension travel and road-spec tires. This model was unveiled at the EICMA 2018.
Hero Xpulse 200, on the other hand, comes with spoked wheels, rubber gaiters, a strong engine bash plate, knuckle guards, an upswept exhaust, a comfortable seat and dual-purpose tires.
Both the bikes get split LED headlamps and a tall windscreen in common. Unlike the Xtreme 200R, we expect the ADVs to get dual-channel ABS unit. Although, the Xpulse 200 might get switchable ABS for better off-roading.

Our price expectations for both the variants range between Rs 1.1 Lakhs to Rs 1.2 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Currently, the most affordable ADV motorcycle is the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
