On the other hand, Hero also launched the Xtreme 200S, which garnered over 1000 units for the same period. However, the Xtreme 200R has recorded a lesser sales figure, of just 426 units. The latter is the most affordable 200cc motorcycle, in a price range of 160cc sporty commuters.
All the four motorcycles, use the same 199.5cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, that produces 19.3 BHP at 8000 RPM and 17.1 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. A 5-speed gearbox remains constant on all the bikes.
For suspension, the Xpulse 200 Twins use telescopic forks with a larger suspension travel and a rear 10-step adjustable gas-charged monoshock. For braking, you get disc brakes at both the ends with a single-channel ABS as standard.
