Hero Splendor Ridden from Noida to Ladakh
This video comes from Ritik-The Travelling King on YouTube. It captures the vlogger’s journey. He is currently in Leh. From there, he plans to travel to the mighty Khardung La. This was the highest motorable pass in the world until a couple of years ago. Thereafter, Umling La took this title from it. Anyway, it is still among the most treacherous passes in the world. This man is doing something truly unusual. While most tourists come with powerful off-roading bikes, he is riding his Splendor. It is among the most popular 100-cc bikes in India ever. You would find it everywhere in the country. But it is not meant for Himalayan rides.

Still, the man has come this far to do something which is not common. After getting the fuel, he commences his ride toward the Khardung La. On the way, he comes across breathtaking landscapes. In fact, it even starts to snow midway to the top of the pass. Unfortunately, the weather conditions became so extreme that the officials stopped the bikers from climbing onto the top of the Khardung La. As a result, the vlogger, along with other bikers, had to return back to Leh just before reaching the pass. But that is a common occurrence in the higher reaches of the Himalayas. The vlogger is clearly impressed by the performance of his motorcycle.

What We Think
While it looked like the entire trip was quite smooth, we must advise our readers to not try this. Getting to the off-roading tracks requires an appropriate vehicle. Although it is possible that you won’t face any issues even on a regular vehicle, but it is not worth it to take a chance. If things go wrong, you will have no one to blame but yourself. While riding to such places with extreme conditions, make sure not to make stupid decisions. The consequences could be fatal within no time. Let us pledge to be responsible drivers and riders.
