Hero Passion Pro 110cc motorcycle will reportedly launch on December 18. Will revive the XPro sub-brand
Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest selling two-wheeler manufacturer, came up with the new 2017 Hero Passion Pro i3s earlier this year. The Passion Pro i3S is priced at Rs 50,955 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). In a recent development, it has come to light that the company plans to launch a 110cc model under the Passion umbrella on December 18. The new Hero Passion Pro 110cc is likely to revive the XPro sub-brand. Prices are expected to start at roughly Rs 60,000.

As per the report, the upcoming 110cc motorcycle will get its juice from Hero’s indigenously developed OHC motor that benefits from TOD (Torque On Demand) engine and i3S start-stop technology. The engine produces a maximum power of 9.5 PS at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 9 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
Presently, the Passion Pro comes with a 97.2cc single-cylinder OHC engine that outputs a maximum power of 8.36 PS at 8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 8.05 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The upcoming Hero Passion Pro 110cc model will become the second, and the most expensive, model in the Passion range. The new model will likely share its cycle parts with the current-gen 100cc sibling. Hence, you’ll get the same suspension and brakes. The front will have a set of telescopic forks, while the rear will have a 5-step adjustable twin rear shock absorbers. Braking will be courtesy of 130 mm drum brakes on both the wheels. A 240 mm front disc brake will be optional.
In terms of design and styling, the new motorcycle will carry a slightly larger bikini fairing along with a set of new decals. 5-spoke alloy wheels and body-coloured rear view mirrors will help make the bike look more premium.
