Reportedly, Hero Passion Pro 100cc variant has been discontinued in India. However, the bigger XPro with a 110cc engine will be available in the market.
Hero Passion has been in the industry for over a decade now. After the Splendor was launched, Passion was offered a more premium alternative, but with the same engine setup, demanding a slightly higher price.
Over the years, it has received many upgrades and now it looks like a premium commuter in the segment. The last one, XPro made its way in 2012 and got a sportier styling than the regular Passion.
Till now, it was offered with a 100cc as well as the 110cc engine. The 100cc engine has reportedly been discontinued in India. Some dealerships have confirmed it to Express Drives and only leftover stock is sold at some dealerships. However, the bike is still there on the official website.

The publication reports that Hero Passion 100cc XPro has been discontinued due to poor sales. Also, the sales of the 110cc Passion are much higher than that of the 100cc variant.
Currently, the same engine powers Splendor+, Splendor pro, HF Dawn and HF Deluxe. Reports suggest that the 100cc engine might be discontinued post BS-6 norms and most of these scooters will then get the 110cc engine.
Hero Motocorp recently obtained the BS-6 certification for the 110cc engine in the Splendor iSmart. FYI, the 100cc engine is developed by Honda. Hero and Honda made two-wheelers back in the 2000s.
Hero Passion XPro gets a 109cc OHC engine that produces 9.4 BHP at 7500 RPM and 9 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The motor comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox with a multi-plate wet clutch.

The suspension is handled by telescopic forks at the front and a swing arm 5-step adjustable monoshock at the back. Braking is taken care of by 130mm drum brakes at both the ends with an option a disc brake. CBS now comes in as standard.
The drum brake variant of Passion XPro is priced at Rs 56,050 and the Disc brake variant goes for Rs 58,050 (prices ex-showroom).
