The much-awaited Hero Mavrick 440 roadster makes finally debuts at the Hero World 2024. Bike enthusiasts would already know that it is based on the Harley Davidson X440 launched a few months ago. In fact, the two companies have co-developed the two models. As a result, they share a lot of components including the powertrain. Still, there are distinct differences to know which model belongs to which auto giant. The bookings will open next month (February) and the deliveries will commence in April. Hero Mavrick 440 Debuts – Specs
The Hero Mavrick uses the Trellis Steel frame. It comes with a powerful Torqx 440-cc 2V SOHC oil-cooled single-cylinder engine making 27 hp and 36 Nm (of which 90% is available from 2,000 RPM) of peak power and torque. This engine pairs with a 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper and wet multi-plate clutch. What is interesting is the fact that it also supports E20 fuel. The other prominent specifications include telescopic front suspension at the front, swingarm mount hydraulic rear twin shox at the rear, disc brakes on both wheels, sporty alloy wheels, and 130 mm of wheel travel. The overall length of the bike is 2,100 mm, the wheelbase is 1,388 mm and the ground clearance is 175 mm. The expected prices will start at around Rs 2 lakh, ex-showroom.
