Hero Group and Honda have already called for a split bringing Hero Honda to a stop, which will take place within a while from now but the joint venture is not comprising on the sales aspect and has launched Hero Honda Achiever. The bike belongs to the 150CC segment, ruled by some of the best bikes in the market, Yamaha FZ-16, Yamaha Fazer, and Bajaj Pulsar 150.
Entering an already established and growing segment is a problem sometimes as the above mentioned bikes are ruling the market and with this new addition from Hero Honda the competition is going to step up to another level. The bike is claimed to have the best mileage in its class which could prove to be a plus point.
Initially the bike was launched in the year 2005 and again in 2007 with a few changes, but was not considered as a dream bike by the Indian buyers. Now after a long gap of almost 3 years the refreshed version is ready to jump into the arena with attractive looks and nice features by its side.
