The BS6 Mahindra Marazzo is currently available in three trims – M2, M4+ and M6+ – and here’s what features you will find in each of the trims. The BS6 Marazzo is however not as feature rich as BS4-spec Marazzo due to discontinuation of previous top-spec M8 trim.
Mahindra launched the BS6 Marazzo in India earlier this week for a starting price of Rs 11.25 lakh and along with the BS6 update, Mahindra also shuffled the variant lineup of the MPV. The BS6 Mahindra Marazzo is currently available in three trims levels – M2, M4+ and M6+ – and all three of them are offered either with seven (middle row captain seats) or eight-seat (middle-row bench) eating configurations. The M4+ and M6+ are new trim levels for the Marazzo while the previous M4, M6 and fully loaded M8 trims have all been discontinued. However, with the discontinuation of the previous top-spec M8 trim, the Marazzo isn’t as feature equipped as before. The BS6 Marazzo M6+ misses out on features such as leatherette upholstery, a cooled glovebox, power folding wing mirrors and cruise control that were previously available on the top-spec M8 trim. It however must be pointed out that the now top-spec M6+ variant undercuts the price of the previous M8 variant by a little over Rs 1 lakh.

The B6 Marazzo continues with its familiar 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine which produces 123hp and 300Nm of peak torque. This engine has been made BS6 compliant with the use of a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system and a rear-mounted urea tank to help reduce NOx emissions. Like before, this engine will continue to come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission but Mahindra is also working on a new AMT gearbox option for the Marazzo, which is expected to launch later this year.
