While Maruti is going to launch the S-Presso micro-SUV this month, the front, as well as the rear photo of the car, has been leaked online.
Another hatchback from Maruti, the S-Presso is technically a micro-SUV, looking similar to the KUV100. The upcoming car from the automaker is set to be launched on 30th September and will be wedged between Maruti Alto and WagonR.
Fresh photo of the front styling and rear styling of the Maruti S-Presso has been leaked. The micro-SUV is basically a hatchback with high ground clearance and a tall-boy look, to give you the SUV type feeling in a small car.
One look at the photo of Maruti S-Presso and you can see three Maruti cars here. The front chrome grille is taken on the Vitara Brezza. The overall appearance including the tall-boyish look is similar to the WagonR. But some creases and especially the rear portion make it look a bit like Alto K10.

One thing that comes straight from the concept is the upright stance with small tyre but high ground clearance. You get halogen headlamps flanked by LED DRLs. The wheel arches are high positioned and to add to the young look, you get plastic body cladding.
Sadly, the turn indicators come on the side fender and not on the ORVMs. The view from the window seems to be decent. Other bits to notice are flat door handles and steel wheels with hub caps.
Recently, the dimensions of the Maruti S-Presso were leaked. The micro SUV is longer than the Alto K10, but a bit shorter than the Renault Kwid. The S-Presso is again taller than Kwid and Alto, which indicates better headspace.

Further, the S-Presso will come with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, as the only option. The engine in its BS-4 compliance produces 68 BHP and 90 Nm of peak torque, with a 5-speed gearbox and an AMT as an option.
Reports suggest that the S-Presso will be priced very near to the WagonR, which starts off at Rs 4.34 Lakhs going up to Rs 6.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Definitely, the top-end variant of S-Presso will be well under the 6 Lakh mark.
