Tata Motors will soon be launching Dark Edition variants of all their models and so, here’s a preview of how the Tiago – one of Tata’s best selling models – could look like with the Dark Edition treatment.
The Dark Edition of the Tata Harrier has received quite some positive response and now, Tata Motors will be coming out with more Dark Editions of their other models. Tata Motors have filed a trademark for Dark Editions for all their models. So the Tata Tiago, Tigor, Altroz and Nexon will all be getting the Dark Edition treatment soon. Among these, the Tata Tiago is one of the brand’s best selling models and so you don’t have to leave things to your imagination, here we have a rendering of the Tata Tiago Dark Edition.
Tata Motors haven’t yet come up with a special edition variant of the facelifted Tiago yet and the Dark Edition model is going to be the first special edition variant. Tata has also filed a trademark for a special Camo Edition for all of their models but it remains to be seen as to what exactly the Camo Edition brings to the table. Anyhow, coming back to the Dark Edition, this rendering has been created by Shoeb R. Kalania.
This rendering has obviously been inspired by the Harrier Dark Edition and it gives us a reasonable idea of how the Tiago Dark Edition could like. As is synonymous with Dark Edition models, this Tiago comes painted in an all-black paint scheme. The chrome elements on the hatchback has been replaced with gloss black inserts. The fog lamp surrounds, the front radiator grille and also the alloy wheels have been completely blacked-out.

A Dark Edition badge has also been added to the front fender of the hatchback. To take things a notch higher, the Tiago even comes with projector headlamps. Although the standard Tiago does not get projector headlamps and only uses halogen units, it still has a fairly long equipment list. That includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, Harman audio system with four speakers, electrically adjustable wing mirrors height-adjustable driver’s seat, cooled glove box, and much more.
