Cheap vs Expensive Helmet – Bomb Test
The video has been created by Crazy XYZ who is one of the biggest YouTubers in the country. He regularly creates content around experiments involving automobiles. In this video, he has 3 helmets costing Rs 300, Rs 400 and Rs 1,800. The first two could be classified as cheap helmets that are bought just to avoid the cops, while the third one can be called an expensive helmet that can actually save in a violent crash. The team decides to blow each of them up using a sutli bomb, which is a prominent Diwali cracker.

However, these bombs are a bit bigger in size to create a larger impact. The YouTuber lights the bomb, puts it under the helmet and ducks for safety. In the first attempt, the bomb shatters the cheapest helmet completely. The glass is broken and the helmet breaks into two. For the second attempt, the team tests the helmet worth Rs 400. A similar procedure is followed for setting up the bomb under the helmet. This time around, the helmet suffered relatively lesser damage. But the inside is completely destroyed.

Finally, the most expensive helmet is put to the test. As soon as the bomb went off, one could clearly see how sturdy this helmet is. The front glass came off as it is attached using a tiny screw. But it didn’t break. On inspecting the inside of the helmet, it is impressive how well it absorbed the impact. The entire inside looks unscathed by the explosion. This signifies that the head of the person will be the safest in an accident in this helmet.
