Design patents of three upcoming Harley Davidson motorcycles have been leaked online. Two bikes in that list have saree guards in the sketches.
Harley Davidson is planning to launch Three premium motorcycles, most likely in India too. The design patents of the models have been leaked, which resemble the previously displayed concepts.
The bikes include HD Streetfighter, Custom 1250 and Pan America 1250. These bikes were earlier unveiled as concept models. In July 2018, Harley Davidson unveiled their prototypes for the global markets.
Interestingly, the sketches of Streetfighter and Pan America 1250 are seen with saree guards. This indicates that the two-wheeler manufacturer is planning to bring these motorcycles to the Indian shores.

HD Streetfighter is a naked muscular motorcycle, which will first of its kind from the brand. Pan America is a premium adventure motorcycle and Custom 1250 is a cruiser drawing similarities to the new Fat Bob.
The upcoming motorcycles will be based on Harley Davidson’s new platform for the 500-1200cc motorcycles. It is also considering the sub-500cc motorcycle segment, specifically for the Indian market.
HD Streetfighter will use a 975cc V-Twin cylinder engine. The specs are unknown as of now. We expect the power figures to be around 100 BHP or so. The other two motorcycles will use a 1250cc engine, which might deliver around 130 BHP.

HD Pan America will also be the brand’s first foray in the ADV segment. Currently, its lineup includes Cruisers, Bobbers, touring motorcycles and more. It will use a V-Twin engine, that will also come on the Custom 1250.
We know that Streetfighter and Pan America 1250 will debut by 2020. The Custom 1250 is expected to debut a year later, by 2021. The India-debut could possibly happen in these years.
The Streetfighter will compete with the likes of Triumph Triple RS, Ducati Monster 821, Kawasaki Z900 and Yamaha MT-09. It is expected to come with a price tag of Rs 10 Lakhs.

On the other hand, Pan America will go against Ducati Multistrada 950 and 1260, Honda Africa Twin, Triumph Tiger 800 and 1200 and BMW F1250 GS. The expected price is around Rs 14 Lakhs.
