ATA Carnet refers to a Temporary Admission permit that allows anyone from any country to import or export non-perishable items without paying any tax or duty. It is a widely accepted international customs document that is not that hard to get. Its validity is 1 year from the date of issue and allows multiple entries into multiple countries in that 1 year. The ATA Carnet is jointly administered by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) through its World Chambers Federation.

The GMC SUV seen on Indian streets recently is imported from Dubai using this method. The video clip records the movement of the colossal SUV in Karnataka. In fact, the size of the SUV is causing a problem for it to enter the relatively narrow alleyways. Needless to say, the humungous SUV makes the heads turn on the road because of its sheer size and imposing styling. It is the quintessential large American SUV which is surely too huge for our roads.
