The videos of girls riding on the bonnet of moving Tata Safari and Maruti Dzire are going viral for all the wrong reasons. With the advent of social media, people have started doing incredibly stupid stunts just to garner some views on their profiles. While this might seem innocuous at first glance, the techniques used by these so-called social media influencers are questionable, to put it mildly. In fact, on some occasions, the Police have to get involved. Here are the details of these latest scenarios.

Girls on Bonnet of Safari and Dzire Fined
The video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate situations and road safety. This time around, the YouTuber has compiled two separate cases. In the first one, a bride in Pryagraj, UP is seen sitting on the bonnet of the last-gen Tata Safari. She is making reels, perhaps for her wedding. What is concerning is the fact that the SUV is moving amidst heavy traffic and things could go wrong in a matter of seconds. The video went to the Police and they slapped her a fine of Rs 15,500.

Similarly, the second case has been reported from Ayodhya, UP. Here, a girl is seen sitting on the bonnet of a moving Maruti Dzire. The road is quite narrow and the vehicle looks to be driven at quite some speed. Needless to say, if anything appears on the road suddenly or the driver had to make a sharp turn for any reason, there is no way that the girl would be able to handle it as she is not holding onto anything. Hence, things could turn ugly very quickly. Moreover, there is another girl hanging out of the window of the Swift. After watching this video, the Police fined the girl Rs 18,000.

Road Safety
We lose thousands of lives on roads each year due to the carelessness of people. This is yet another case where people are just being stupid and idiotic and risking their lives just to get some attention on social media. We would like to advise our readers to never get involved in such cases and report such people to the authorities to make our roads safer than they are at the moment.
