Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) by of Turin is ready with its latest work for Tesla and this concept car is very inspiring and futuristic in looks and this car is an example of what the future electric cars will look like. And this car is aimed at reaching out to the Urban Market with the young customer as the basic target.
The Full scale method of the EYE concept is to be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show 2010 and the design team includes eleven Master of Arts students in Transportation at IED who worked with the Tesla team but the level of involvement from the Tesla team has not been clarified.
As being speculated , the car is supposed to contain a Tesla type drive train but this in production for commercial purpose is not seen as a match for the ambitions and the expectations of the mass, of the company’s new concept. Contributions have also been made to the EYE by Pirelli and OZ Racing, high-performance tire and wheel-makers ,respectively.
