Lamborghini Revuelto of Gautam Singhania Breaks Down
This video stems from Cars For You on YouTube. This channel features content around the vehicles of our beloved celebrities. On this occasion, a rather strange case has emerged. The owner of Raymond reported that his hybrid supercar was stranded on the trans-harbour link due to a complete electrical failure. He was test driving the Lamborghini Revuelto. He mentions that this is a brand-new car. Furthermore, he questions the reliability of the Italian beauty. In fact, he goes on to announce that this is the third instance of such failure that he has heard in the past 15 days. That is really a shocking discovery.
Lamborghini Revuelto
The Lamborghini Revuelto is a hybrid supercar. It comes with a potent 6.5-litre 12-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol along with electric motors to generate a combined power and torque output of a jaw-dropping 1,015 PS and 725 Nm, respectively. This mill pairs with a sporty and quick-shifting 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. As a result, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h comes up in a mere 2.5 seconds. It has a carbon fiber body, a carbon fiber monocoque chassis with forged composites at the front. To aid the aerodynamics, the supercar gets an active rear wing.
Taking care of the stopping power, the Revuelto gets Carbon Ceramic Brakes with monoblock calipers in aluminium with 10 pistons at the front and 4 pistons at the rear. Impressively, the top speed is a whopping >350 km/h. Due to the carbon fiber and aluminium elements, the weight is just 1,772 kg. In India, the single fully-loaded trim retails for a colossal Rs 8.89 Crore, ex-showroom which takes the on-road prices to well over Rs 10 Crore. It remains to be seen what the carmaker has to say about these issues.
