The much-awaited fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail has finally made its debut in the Indian market. Note that the international model was revealed in 2022. At the time, the Japanese auto giant had said that this SUV was India-bound. Today, we have received the SUV in the flesh. However, only the design of the SUV has been unveiled today. The Nissan X-Trail offers a modern and striking appearance to the onlookers. At the front, it gets a busy fascia that includes a large grille finished in chrome and a sleek LED headlamp with integrated LED DRLs. In fact, the split headlamp setup looks aggressive and purposeful. The bumper is quite sporty which is also due to the sturdy skid plate underneath. On the sides, one gets an adventurous profile with side body claddings, prominent wheel arches, black side pillars, faux roof rails and elegant alloy wheels. At the rear, the SUV showcases a sharp split-LED taillamp theme with a roof-mounted spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, a contoured boot gate and a solid skid plate. All in all, the SUV possesses an imposing road presence and is certainly a head-turner. For India, the colour options include Black, White and Champagne Silver.

In terms of the amenities, the Nissan X-Trail offers a myriad of modern tech, connectivity, convenience and safety features. That is crucial to rival its competitors. Also, Indian customers are hard to please and they want their vehicles to have all the bells and whistles. The Nissan X-Trail comes with a 1.5-litre turbo cylinder engine which generates an impressive 201 PS and 305 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine pairs with a CVT automatic gearbox. We shall have to wait to know the exact details of the India-spec model a bit more.
