Ford India had promised in the past that it will bring world-class service experience for its Indian customers and as per its promise, Ford India launched its first Quick Lane service center at Metro Ford in Yeshwantpur, Bangalore, today. With the launch of India’s first quick lane service, Ford India will have 11 sales and service centres in Bangalore.
The Quick Lane service is a one of its kind service that is quite different from what we have experienced till date. This new service will ensure enhanced service experience for Ford customers who are short on time.
Yes you heard it right. The service is beneficial for people who are in a hurry and want a quick but quality service. Now Ford customers who are from Bangalore can get routine vehicle maintenance and light repair needs quickly and that too without any appointment.
With Quick Lane service the company introduces ‘No Appointment Necessary’ and ‘While you Wait’ service, that will provide a fast, convenient, and customer friendly support for routine checkups. As I have mentioned above, the service can take care of light repair needs which includes oil and filter changes, brake systems, tires, suspension systems, exhaust systems, tune-ups and alignments.
The facility equips state of the art infrastructure and covers an area of 10,000 sq. ft. With such a good amount of space, the facility can service 35 cars per day.
“We have now introduced the option of speedy, no-appointment necessary service during hours that fit the busy schedules of our customers,” said John Cooper, executive director, customer service operations, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa.
While a customer’s Ford vehicle is being repaired or checked, he or she can relax in an air conditioned reception area and can even browse the internet over Wi-Fi for free.
“At Quick Lane centers, customers will have the confidence of knowing their vehicles are being serviced by Ford-trained technicians using quality parts,” he further added.
“Ford with a commitment of going further to enrich the lives of customers across India. We’re taking customer service to the next level, and the new Quick Lane service center is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the customer service experience with trust, speed and transparency,” said PK Umashankar, vice president, customer service operations, Ford India.
This is indeed a great step towards offering better after-sales service, and we really hope more such centres come up in other major cities soon.
