In September 2021, Ford officially stopped manufacturing cars in India after being in the market for around 25 years. This is after they suffered losses of around $2 billion USD in our market. In all these years, there are over 1 million happy Ford customers in India. Therefore, Ford decided to keep offering aftersales services in response to the trust that people have instilled in the American car marque. The service centres are still operational in most parts of the country even today and Ford promises to keep them going in the future too.

Also, Ford has not completely left our market. It still keeps operating as a niche player with its imported vehicles.
