Ford is gaining all the popularity that it deserves through models like Ford Figo and the recent 2011 Ford Fiesta. Before 2015, the company has planned 8 global models of which one is going to be launched in a few months from now and is known as Ford Focus.
The 2012 Ford Focus, which will be unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo is no ordinary cheap car and will be priced above the 2011 Ford Fiesta. Competition wise, it will go head on with Toyota Corolla Altis, Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic, Skoda Laura, Renault Fluence, 2011 Volkswagen Jetta and other vehicles from the sedan segment. The information has come from sources who claim that the news to be cent percent true.
In all probability the manufacturer will offer Focus in both MPFI petrol and CRDI diesel options as diesel engines are becoming a necessity now a days and every manufacturer is switching towards diesel. The car could probably come with a 1.6 or 2.0 Liter petrol engine producing maximum power of 160 BHP and for the diesel a similar engine developing 140 BHP.
In terms of features whatever is being offered with the new Fiesta, like Voice Recognition System, Cruise Control, Rear Parking sensors and many other are at least expected and besides all these new and more advanced features will definitely be there.
The car will be an amazing addition and will add charm to the sedan line-up. We can only hope new features to be offered with the car as cost is always a concern before launching a car but since the Fiesta is heavily loaded with high-tech goodies this one is supposed to surpass the benchmark set by former.
