The 2019 Ford Figo is all set to launch in India on the 15th of March this year. This time around, it comes with a special ‘Blu’ variant.
Ford India is all set to launch the 2019 iteration of the Figo hatchback in India on the 15th of March this year. With this model update, this entry-level offering from Ford is going to come with minor cosmetic updates, additions to its feature list and the introduction of a new 1.2-litre petrol engine. Furthermore, the American automaker is going to launch a new ‘Blu’ variant for the Figo this time around. Though it is not clear, it seems that the same is going to act as a replacement for the current iteration’s ‘S’ variant.
The 2019 ford Figo is going to come with an all-new front and rear bumper design. The changes on the same include a different design for the fog-lamp housing and the air-dam sitting in-between. In addition to this, the front profile now comes with an all-new grille. Minor revisions have been done to the headlamp assembly as well. Apart from this, on the whole, the car looks exactly the same as before.

In comparison, the Ford Figo Blue comes with a blacked-out front grille, blacked out housing for the fog-lamps with the chrome accents replaced with blue one. Other points of differentiation include larger, black colour alloy wheels and body decals all-around.

On the inside, the 2019 Ford Figo comes with a slightly revised central console. Top-end variants will now feature a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Other features on the top-spec variant will include 6-airbags, high-speed warning system, ABS with EBD to name a few.
With the 2019 iteration, the Ford Figo is going to get a 1.2-litre petrol engine from the automaker’s Dragon series. This engine is capable of churning out 96 BHP of power along with 115 Nm of peak torque. In addition to this, there will be a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine on offer as well. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and an automatic option for the 1.5-litre unit.
