Our dealership sources confirmed that the BS6 Ford Endeavour is coming soon and most of the dealers have stopped taking bookings for the BS-4 version.
As reported earlier, Ford is going to bring a new diesel engine for the BS6 Endeavour. Ahead of that, our sources confirmed that the BS-4 stock of Endy has started getting over. BS4 units are not available at many dealerships across the country.
Dealerships have stopped taking bookings for BS4 Endeavour and will soon commence the bookings for BS6 version. Ford will launch the updated SUV this month, along with a new and more powerful diesel engine, replacing its current engines.
Ford Endeavour BS6 will sport a new bi-turbo 2.0 Litre diesel engine, that comes on the Australia-spec model. The engine is capable of producing 210 BHP and 500 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 10-speed torque converter AT.

The existing Endeavour gets a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 3.2 Litre diesel engine. The smaller motor produces 168 BHP and 360 Nm of peak torque. The 3.2L unit comes on the top-end variant, producing 200 BHP and 470 Nm of peak torque.
However, except the BS6 engine, the Ford Endeavour will get no other changes. It will continue with the same design and same features. The SUV is already amongst the most feature-loaded models in its segment.
Ford Endeavour is one of the most capable SUVs in its segment, a lot better than its previous generations as well. Coming in 4X2 and 4X4 configurations, it gets other off-roading features like Launch Assist, Electric Locking Rear Differential and Traction Control.

This month, Toyota will also launch the updated BS6 Fortuner, which will also get a new engine. The prices of Ford Endeavour BS6 will definitely increase by over a Lakh. We are expecting Ford to commence the deliveries of the SUV by next month.
