After various speculations and a handful of spy images, Ford has finally revealed the new 2018 Ford EcoSport Storm variant that will soon launch in Brazil. Bookings for the new model have already commenced. The EcoSport Storm has gone on sale at a price of R$ 99,990, which is approximately Rs 20.20 lakh in Indian currency. The Storm becomes with the most expensive variant in the EcoSport range.

The current-generation Ford EcoSport made its debut in 2012. The updated 2017 EcoSport was revealed at the 2016 LA Auto Show. The facelift came with a new front-end, updated rear-end styling and an updated interior. Now, in the latest development, the company is ready with the meaner looking Storm variant. As can be seen in the images we have on this page, the Ford EcoSport Storm gets several styling updates for both its exterior and the interior. The new bits work well to inject some aggressiveness to the design and give the compact SUV a more macho look.

Ford EcoSport Storm Exterior and Interior
On the outside, the car gets a new Brown Trancoso paint. Also, the Storm comes with darker Xenon headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights, new decals, new bumper, new faux skid plate, carbon black front grille with Storm branding, Dark London Gray paint for ORVM housings, door handles and 17-inch alloy wheels, new body cladding, Storm branding on spare wheel cover and a new roof rack. The EcoSport Storm is available in the new Brown Trancoso shade only.
Even the interior of the new Ford EcoSport Storm is different from that of the regular model. The cabin gets an upholstery change in the form of Ebony Black leather with Satin Orange stitching. The dashboard gets some orange accents on the centre console. The orange highlights can also be found on the door panels.
Ford EcoSport Storm Specifications
The new 2018 Ford EcoSport Storm is available with only one engine option. Powering the Storm is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, flex-fuel engine that outputs a maximum power of 176 cv (176 hp) along with a peak torque of 221 Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via a four-wheel drive system.
