One’s friend and family are almost always made a huge part of the entire celebration and it’s, therefore, hearting to see a couple who’s about to tie the knot to make their car a huge part of the photo sessions. As per what we found on social media, one Deep Sangeet Maity has made his Ford EcoSport a huge part of the pre-wedding photoshoot. In the pictures we have here, you can see the young couple out of the sunroof of the sub-compact SUV and posing. A caption that Maity has posted along with the pictures reads- “Pre-wedding shoot with my EcoSport. Seriously, this machine is an emotion.” #FordLovers
It’s clear that the owner of this 2021 Ford EcoSport considers his vehicle to be a huge part of his life and wants it to be an important participant in his wedding. It is important to mention here that even though Ford India stopped its retail operations last year, it has not exited the country. Not only is the carmaker making many efforts to continue enjoying the trust of its customers, but it has even expressed interest in resuming sales operations in future. As per a report, the carmaker has been shortlisted as one of the 20 manufacturers that will benefit from incentives under the government’s USD 3.5 billion earmarked for zero-emission vehicles.

In line with this, the carmaker is contemplating resuming its production facilities in the country through manufacturing of EVs that will be exported out of the country. Subsequently, Ford India could even launch these vehicles in the fast-expanding Indian EV market. The American carmaker, which has two production plants in the country, is now “exploring the possibility of using a plant in India as an export base for EV manufacturing.” On being asked if the company would even sell these electric cars in the country, a spokesperson commented “there have been no specific discussions on this right now, but it is not out of the realm of future consideration”. This decision is in line with the company’s plan to pump in over USD 30 billion in EV and battery technology by 2030.
