A Ford EcoSport owner shares his experience regarding the build quality of his SUV. Ford had quit manufacturing in India back in September 2021. The loyal Ford fans were surprised and disappointed to not have their favourite cars on offer anymore. Many of them have come out in support of the American carmaker professing their love for Ford products. This latest video highlights the role that Ford has played in the lives of its car buyers for a long time.

Ford EcoSport Owner Talks About Its Build Quality
The video has been uploaded by a YouTuber who is a Ford loyalist. The person he talks to has owned 3 Ford cars in his life. The first one is the first-gen Figo, the second is the EcoSport and he again bought an EcoSport automatic. He shares his story of being involved in an unfortunate incident involving his EcoSport compact SUV. While driving on a highway, he applied brakes suddenly as a result of which the vehicle skidded. The SUV rolled over a couple of times before ending up in a field on the side of the road. While the co-passenger escaped unhurt, he sustained some injuries.

However, the police that arrived on the scene to investigate told him that had it been some other car with the poor build quality, he would not have been able to make it. The visuals in the video suggest that the body shell of the EcoSport absorbed the impact quite well and insulated the occupants resulting in minimal damage. This is a testament to the EcoSport and we have seen a ton of such cases earlier too. The EcoSport has almost always been able to perform well in the most unfortunate scenarios.

Prior to being discontinued, the EcoSport came with the options of a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine good for 120 hp and 149 Nm and the 1.5-litre diesel engine makes 100 hp and 215 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. There are options of either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. It rivalled the likes of Nexon, Sonet, Venue, Brezza, XUV300 and more.
