Ford EcoSport Build Quality
According to the Facebook post, the SUV was travelling at a speed of 10-15 kmph when it hit a cement bench ahead. By the looks of it, it seems that the owner had taken the SUV to an area that was off-tarmac. The details of the collision are unavailable but the impact uprooted the cement bench. As seen in the images, the bench was broken in half. Also, the images show that the bumper of the EcoSport seems to have taken the blow. Even then, the dent is not significant. The plastic cladding on the bumper seems to have come off. However, there are no substantial impact signs on the SUV. This is a great testament to the build quality of the Ford EcoSport and why so many people have the craze for this compact SUV even though it is showing its age.

The facelifted Ford EcoSport has also been spotted testing multiple times. Ford might launch the facelifted EcoSport soon now as there are not many changes apart from the cosmetics. Ford has been rumoured to have plans of quitting the Indian automobile market due to low sales. It was reportedly trying to sell off one its production facilities in India. But what exactly will be the future of the American carmaker in the country remains to be seen.

Ford EcoSport – Specs
The powertrain options on the updated Ford EcoSport will include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine good for 120 hp and 149 Nm and the 1.5-litre diesel engine makes 100 hp and 215 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. There are options of either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
