Ford EcoSport is an important car for the US based auto maker and it plans to launch the same in the fastest emerging markets first. Brazil is where the car was originally engineered and therefore the company launched the car in the same country, first. After Brazil, the next most important markets are India and China where the company will be launching it within the next 6 months. Surprisingly, out of nowhere, Argentina has replaced China in the priority list and Ford has recently launched the EcoSport there.
It was unexpected as there was no news about Ford’s plans of launching the SUV in Argentina before China and India.
