Ford Ecosport all-wheel-drive spotted doing rounds in India! The C-SUV will be exported globally
Recently an all-wheel-drive Ford Ecosport was spotted testing in Coimbatore. The car spotted featured left-hand drive (LHD) and is mostly doing test rounds for the export market. It will be a locally built car for the global market.
The front fascia of the Ecosport looks identical to its front wheel design (FWD) with the same alloy wheels. It gets disc brakes on all tyres. Inside, it gets the same floating infotainment touchscreen system which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moving on to the rear profile, the compact SUV is deprived of the tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
Ford Ecosport shown here is in its SE trim and the all-wheel drive variant is only sold in Brazil and the UK. In Brazil, a 2.0-litre petrol motor is available which churns out 169 bhp with 203 Nm of torque. It gets mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
