Force motors is working in it Force Explorer SUV for quite some time and there has been few delays in the launch, but finally its expected to hit the Indian roads in the month of May 2011. There are news coming from various sources about the pricing of the SUV. The prices will start around Rs. 10 Lakhs and will go up to Rs. 15 Lakhs for high end variants. The details will be more clear around May 2011 on the official launch. It will be powered by a Mercedes Benz engine and design and other elements have been finished with the help of Lotus Engineering UK.
The aggressive pricing of Force Explorer is all set to ignite the competition in its segment of SUVs which include Tata Safari, Mahindra Scorpio, MPVs like Toyota Innova etc..
