It is not every day that one gets to witness the inmates deployed to break-in in the presence of Police officers.

In a unique set of events, a few inmates were seen breaking into a car to rescue a 1-year-old child stuck inside. This is a peculiar example of putting the โ€˜skillsโ€™ of prisoners to good use of the general public. Admittedly, prisoners who have committed break-ins at peopleโ€™s places with wrong intentions know the trick of picking locks. Similarly, people who break into cars without actually shattering the glass have that skills as well. That is exactly what was required in this weird scenario from reported Florida, USA.

That is when the parents called the authorities for help. Luckily, the group of inmates were nearby and witnessed the situation. As the Police officers arrived, the inmates were handed the task of breaking into the car in broad daylight and in front of the crowd. Note that breaking the glass was out of the question due to the safety concerns of the baby. After a few attempts, the inmates were able to somehow break the door rubber and open the door enough to stick an object inside to press the unlock button.

But she was visibly a bit irritated by so many people. Such incidents highlight that inmates can be integrated back into society and their โ€˜skillsโ€™ can positively impact people. What are your thoughts on the matter?
