The red-coloured 2023 Tata Nexon facelift is quite a treat for all Nexon fans. The compact SUV has been in the news for a few weeks now. Tata is about to give an upgrade to refresh it. The bookings will open on September 4, while the launch of the Nexon and Nexon EV is slated for September 14. Nexon is among the highest-selling compact SUVs in the country. Its bold styling, 5-star safety rating, tech features, etc. are some of the main reasons for its massive success. Now, the videos of the new Nexon in the flesh are emerging online. Here is what they reveal.

Red-Coloured Tata Nexon Facelift
This video comes from Upbeat Umag on YouTube. It captures a complete walkaround tour of the facelifted Nexon in the flesh. This SUV in red colour oozes sportiness. Tata calls this colour Flame Red. Additionally, the entire front fascia is visible. There are sleek LED DRLs on the bonnet, a black grille with Tata logo at the centre, angular LED headlamps on either side of the bumper, a thin skid plate underneath the bumper, minimal use of chrome and an upright bonnet. On the sides, there are elegant and sporty alloy wheels while the overall silhouette remains almost identical to the existing model. There are other images from Dhruv Saxena on Twitter which show the SUV in its entirety. It boasts a purple colour theme on the inside.

Interior and Features
The new interior layout will attract tons of new buyers. There will be a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display with connected car tech and smartphone connectivity, a fully-digital driver’s instrument cluster, a two-spoke steering wheel (inspired by the CURVV concept), touch controls for HVAC, a textured dashboard layout, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, air purifier, 6 airbags and more. We can expect the compact SUV to be feature-rich to woo customers.

Specs
Under the hood, the Nexon facelift will most likely get a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol mill generating 121 PS and 225 Nm of peak power and torque. These figures are slightly higher than the existing model. Apart from that, the 1.5-litre turbo diesel will carry on too. It makes 115 PS and 260 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties will be taken care of by a slew of gearbox options including a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, AMT and a new DCT (with the new turbo petrol). The list of rivals is rather long. This includes the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV300. We will have to wait for the launch to know about the prices.
