Aftermarket car modification houses have been getting the new Mahindra Thar Roxx for customization as the deliveries of the off-roading SUV have commenced recently
This has to be the first Mahindra Thar Roxx in the country to bear a Mocha Brown interior. Thar Roxx, for the unversed, is the 5-door iteration of the regular Thar. It set the market on fire when it bagged a jaw-dropping 1.76 lakh bookings within the first hour. That is a testament to the popularity of the hardcore off-roader. The Indian auto giant made the 3-door Thar more practical and spacious and equipped it with more amenities along with mechanical tweaks to make the 5-door version even more impressive. For now, let us take a look at the mods on a Mahindra Thar Roxx.
Mahindra Thar Roxx with Mocha Brown Interior
The specifics of this case stem from HER GARAGE on YouTube. The host is at the car shop where the Thar Roxx has been completely dismantled from the inside. They are performing all sorts of modifications on it. To start with, they are installing a new music system on the Thar Roxx. Furthermore, the AC vents have been replaced with more premium-looking units. To take care of the comfort of the occupants, the seat support has been extended with extra cushioning. However, the biggest talking point is the Mocha Brown colour theme.
Note that Mahindra is also offering this combination from the factory but the deliveries for those variants will commence from January. That is why the existing customer approached the car shop to get this right away. After the installation, the brown upholstery on the seats, centre console and dashboard looks sporty with the black dashboard. Additionally, on the outside, they have replaced fog lamps, auto-folding ORVMs, smoked LED taillamps, reflector lights, and more. All these mods cost around Rs 1.25 lakh. The car shop owner also says that he has options for less or more customizations too.
My View
I have come across innumerable instances of car modifications in recent times. In fact, many modern automobile YouTubers perform such mods on their vehicles and share the details with their followers. However, I must mention here that it is quite complicated and risky to take the stock components out and install new ones for no reason at all. The fact that they are tinkering with the original electronics of the car is never a good idea. In fact, many fire incidents take place due to this very reason. I would like to caution our readers to take care of these aspects before going for these aftermarket modifications.
