The EV6 is an all-electric crossover from Kia that suggests the electrified future of automobiles and deliveries of the same have commenced in India.
The first batch of Kia EV6 has been delivered in India. Here’s the video of the first-ever delivery. EV6 is the all-electric crossover hatchback that has received an overwhelming response from customers and critics on a global scale. The sibling of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 which is the recipient of a ton of awards including the prestigious World Car of the Year at the 2022 World Car Awards, is available in two variants priced at Rs 59.95 lakh and Rs 64.95 lakh, ex-showroom respectively.

First Kia EV6 in India

It involves a regular cake-cutting ceremony and posing with the wrapped vehicle. It is unwrapped and the keys are handed over to the respective owners. As the wrap is taken off, the visuals reveal the striking and modern but understated exterior styling with swept-back LED headlamps encapsulated inside an LED unit for the DRLs. The two creases on the bonnet highlight the aerodynamic design for maximum efficiency.

On the sides, the dual-tone alloy wheels are also designed for maximum efficiency. The side door panels are devoid of any creases and the crossover silhouette is evident from the sides. The rear section neatly lands on the tail lid meeting the sharp LED taillight that runs across the width of the EV, there is a chrome strip running above the bumper and some sporty elements underneath the bumper to accentuate the overall stance of the EV.

The Kia EV6 comes with a 77.4 kWh Lithium-ion battery that comes in RWD and AWD versions. In the RWD configuration, the EV develops 229 PS and 350 Nm, while in the AWD trim, it churns out 325 PS and 605 Nm of peak power and torque. The 350 kW DC fast charging allows the 10-80% charging in just 18 mins. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 5.2 secs. The claimed WLTP range is an impressive 528 km.
